Biography
Dub Lounge International pays homage to the traditional forms of roots
reggae, rocksteady, and dub as it was originally played and heard. DLI's
blend of organic roots fulfills fans of all traditional Jamaican music
genres. Their 2008 debut album, "Dub Lounge One", includes guest
vocalists Winston Jarrett and Ezra Tosh (cousin of Peter Tosh). Their
newest release, "Over the Cliffs" (Aug, 2010) is a remixed single
produced by Scientist. They are currently working on their 3rd release,
due out in spring 2011.Most recently they have opened for Third
World, Freddie McGregor, and at NWWRF 2010 prior to their favorite Don
Carlos. Band have also been seen backing up legends like Israel
Vibration, Prezident Brown, Wadi Gad, Pablo Moses, Rankin' Scroo,
Winston Jarrett, Lutan Fyah, Mykal Rose, Queen Omega, Norris Man, Ras
Shilo, Clinton Fearon, Dub Narcotic Sound System, and have shared the
stage with Midnite, Jimmy Cliff, Groundation, Dezire, the Itals,
Fishbone, Buju Banton, Black Uhuru, Inner Circle, Groundation, and Yami
