Biography
There is much speculation on how and when the Haggard Beat formed. Some folks will tell you the Beat's always been around, drifting along in the space between, waiting for a few good ol' boys to imbue with the spirit of the Hag. Others are of the opinion that the Beat emerged from a primordial Haggard soup along side other prolific Hag rockers of our time. As is usually the case, the truth lies somewhere in between.
In it's current form, the Beat consists of Sir. Moustache Lougheed, Jumpin' RED, Daniel "Bassmaster" Bourassa, and the lowly wastrel, Evan "Stick in the Mud, Gum on yo' Shoe" Webb. As of 2011, the boys are back making music and should be comin' out with the new shit any day now.
