Biography
Coming on the tails of a major commissioned work, a year in the making and recently performed at Roulette, TwistyCat stops by WFMU's Love Room for a live performance. Melding the fraternal twin tones of bass clarinet (Lea Bertucci) and baritone sax (Ed Bear, ex-Talibam!), TwistyCat kick up a swirl of homemade and drone, a misfit animal that is 1/3 noise, 1/3 jazz, 1/3 pure instinct. Their live shows include a heavy visual element, manipulated on the fly by Anastasiya Osipova, which we will try to replicate for you via live video webstream. This should be fun.
