Wio

One-man project from Ingwio D'hespeel whom is also member of de Portables. Often been described as the Belgian Smog, Peter Jefferies, Greg Weeks or even Nick Drake. This mainly because of his talent of writing perfect pop-tunes with a warm, smooth voice on top of it. But Wio is more then this. He incorporates in his own way small electronica-fragments within his gentle pop, and sometimes exhalirates with controlled -eruptions which don't hurt anybody. He is this kind of 21th century hippie which for once we don't use in a negative way. On live-actions it could be he plays completely solo, but also with his friends of de Portables, or he brings a human beatboxer along. Always surprising and delivering goosebumps.
