Good Kids Single Tracks

"Good Kids" is about getting back in touch with yourself after years of going the wrong way in life. This song tells the story of when I got caught up in a lot of bad things, got robbed, and ran out of money. I was driving from Pittsburgh Pa to just outside of Atlanta in Georgia to go stay with my parents after things fell through. I was still sick from partying the night before, but I felt hopeful that I could get a fresh start. One of the most substantial moments of my life was arriving at my parents house, feeling like I couldn't possibly fit in with good people again, and having all of my defenses loward by Mom giving me a hug. It helped me who I used to be. I think we are all just "good kids" underneath.
